Kerala the state that the National Geographic describes as one of the ten paradises on earth

The tropical landscape, colourful temple festivals, luxurious aurvedic resorts and exotic cuisine, make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. Most tourist visit Kerala between October and March thereby avoiding the hot and humid summer months. However, Peter, Desmond and Rahul truly believe that Kerala has a lot to offer during these summer months and will use this run to highlight some such quaint and exciting events that take place across the state. These will include, among others, visits to

1. Thallesseri, considered the capital of Indian circus

2. Thrissur where over 80 elephants with colourful umbrellas will gather together for the annual temple festival

3. Kapad known for the art of making Uru - the traditional sail boats of Kerala.

4. Temples and towns where Kalari, the oldest form of martial arts and precursor to Karate is still practised
